Theater Poster
This couple chose an old ballroom for their wedding reception. Wanting to capture the nostalgia of a room that hosted performances in years past, a theater poster replica was a perfect fit. Their silhouettes recreate the groom’s 4th of July proposal, and, to complete the theme, included tickets to the show as reply cards. When the couple decided to expand their family a year later, we used the same theme for the baby shower invitations.

Butterfly
Whimsy
This wedding invitation was created for a couple who were looking for an invitation to complement their butterfly theme while capturing the special element of their relationship. This design is a very fun, contemporary style with the curls on the vellum tying into the curls of the butterfly wings.

Nature Lovers

This design was also created for a butterfly-themed wedding. This design created a more natural feel with handmade paper made from flower petals, a gold butterfly stamp and red raffia tied on the corner.

Written in Crayon
Weddings are a way to show the pure nature of love. And what better way to exhibit this than through the eyes of a child. This couple came to me with a crayon drawing done by the niece of the groom. They wanted to incorporate this into a simple, yet elegant invitation. Held closed by a thick white ribbon, the artwork becomes the focus of the invitation on the inside followed by the wording in a bold modern style.

Scattered Petals
This invitation is all romance. A burgundy sheaf of paper serves as the cover and is held closed with a shear ivory ribbon. The quote was an expression of the couple's relationship. Inside, on an ivory square of paper, the guests found a small dried rose with scattered petals accompanying the ceremony wording.

Read All About It!
This couple fell in love working together on their college newspaper. This invitation tells their story, including a sports section for the wedding party, an opinion page with blurbs from friends and family, a travel section for the honeymoon destination and more. The obituary section was a big hit, lamenting the death of the groom's status as a bachelor.

Throw Away the Key

Truly antique, this invitation uses embossed vellum paper wrapped with a satin ribbon. The ribbon holds in place a silver and bronze antique key with a card carrying the phrase "With hearts unguarded, we've chosen one another and thrown away the key." The entire invitation sits on a pillow of burgundy satin. Click to Enlarge

Zebra Print

This invitation was created for a couple sharing their vows at a park within the zoo. The zebra print paper was a fun yet formal way to let their guests know what was in store. Click to Enlarge

Police Case File
This invitation was created for a couple who wanted to have a little fun with the groom's profession. This mini-folder design has all the feel of a police case file folder all the way down to having "Confidential" stamped on the outside. Several pages paper-clipped inside announce the wedding and provide "Your Rights" to the guests. The invitation wording spins familiar police language to suit the special event. Click to Enlarge
